Re: [Freeflight] Spring is in the air - in Australia

What do you do about aggression with flighted birds?

What I have found is that clipping is only a temporay solution to flight.
An aggressive bird may be a bit depressed after a clipping, and seem to
settle down, but would soon resume his natural disposition.
(Birds who have never known flight can be aggressive, too.)
In my flock of 7, they have all gone through periods of attitude toward one
another (and me) while clipped and unclipped...and all have adjusted
themselves.
None of mine are clipped now and I see no reason for them to be. They all
seem to find their own 'places' in the hierarchy and stay there comfortably
... if only for a while.

Lots to be said for patience and positive reinforcement ...
