I know Mona...
It is also about how lucky Bo is. It is about taking our
responsabilities. Bo didn't choose to be in this situation, we
descided to bring Bo home with us one day.
Many people would indeed have gotten rid of the bird (easiest
solution in my opinion). I don't want to do that. I see Bo as my
responsability and i am the one that has to find out whats wrong and
try to fix it... with the help of others. People in my environment
have told me to look for a new home for Bo because he has too big
impact on our lives in their opinions. But i ask myself what good
that will be for Bo? Will he suddenly change his behaviour with new
people? I don't think so.
I have to do my very best for this young bird and hope to find ways
to solve the problems.
It was not my intention to start posting about this part of our
situation, i just replied on the agressive flyers post and then Bart
asked me to react to the posts on this list. Thats what i did.
I hope you don't have a picture of a mean, bad, bbbytttttttttt (this
was Bo saying hello to you) Bo here. He is a wonderfull, intelligent
bird but he is very extreme in all his behaviours.
The salesman at the shop where we got him, told us the breeder had
had his problems with Bo. He was the only bird they couldn't do what
they wanted to do.33333336336 (Bo again). He told us that when he
entered the shop in the mornings, Bo yelled and screemed the shop
upside down if he didn't first of all greet Bo. Bo was 7 months old
when we brought him home, he had been 4 months in that shop. The
salesman didn't dare to take Bo out of the cage without gloves while
Bo was handraised by the breeder. As i write this down, i think to
myself that maybe something has happened in the early stage of his
life? don't know.
Anyway, enough of this.
Could you please tell me where i can find that BAS list or the
Susan ? list?
Thanks for all advice and listening,
Sophie
