We do! Mona and I and a couple dozen other people in the Seattle area
have been flying in an empty building since about September. The building
used to be a grocery store, so it's near perfect. Very few windows (all
covered now), high ceilings, lots of open space.

Go for it. Worst case, they say no. Best case, you have a big place to
fly your birds.

We have a web site at http://www.flyday.org/ and there is a page there
with some thoughts on getting a building to fly in. If you manage to get
in please tell us all about it. And be ready to hear from people in your
area who want to join in. Possibly lots of them... we ended up creating a
waiting list.
