Re: [Freeflight] HELP needed PLEASE

Hi Chris,

The MSPCA has been contacted in the past, visited the site, and have seen
the conditions as in those pictures but done nothing. It seems that MA
animal cruelty laws don't include birds.

Because the MSPCA hasn't done anything, and does have the power to remove
animals, the hope is that with enough letter and phone pressure they will
rethink this and get the birds out asap.

In the event that the birds are removed, the group working on this will
offer the MSPCA assistance by giving them a facility, four avian vets who
will donate their time, including Dr. McMillan, and students from Tufts tha=
t
will care for the birds until the quarantine and testing is completed.
Also, labs have agreed to test at cost.

Any other questions from the list I'd be happy to answer privately (thanks
Chris for also sending your e-mail private because I don't always check all
lists), or they can e-mail the address on the Web site. NEEBSTRUTH@...=

Thanks Chris! This has been a long hard battle for the people involved,
they now need our help but more importantly those birds need everyone's
help.
