I keep a little Japanese tea cup on Juba's big play table and a small
whiffle ball. Sometimes I hear that ball bouncing over and over again
into that cup. I go in there and there is Juba just repeatedly bouncing
the ball into the cup. It either means "Mom, come in here and let's do
some tricks" or "I want a pine nut." Probably both. Anyway she usually
gets both.

She also sits on the door knob of the door to the garage about the time
I usually take her to the fly building. That's the only time she sits there
and she never sits on other door knobs. It's pretty hard to change your
schedule or neglect your birdie-entertainment-duties with that little
timekeeper around.

Oh, btw, Kevin, Red Bellies are just the best...so playful, so smart, and
so friendly with everyone. Probably all poi's are, like Mona's Babylon
Senegal, but my experience is with Red Bellies. She constantly
amazes me with her antics and intelligence and how quickly she learns
things.

Sure glad that little bird didn't get hurt in that doorway. I don't know if I
could have stood it.
