Dina and Baloo.....name comes from being "dusted in flour " !

Oh Dina...he is beautiful and sooo lucky to have found you in his life! 
Wonder if he was a wild caught? You know in Tambopata I saw flocks of up to 40 
at a time of Blue Crowned Mealy Amazons ...they were a riot tumbling all 
close together on the great clay lick. in the early morning...
Know the reason they got the name "mealy" ? Because they look like they 
have been dusted in flour (meal). .....no kidding!!!

Thank You, I think he's pretty darned handsome too :-)
He is a Blue Crowned Mealy and there's so very little information available 
about Mealy Amazons, much less the Blue Crowned ones. I've got a beautiful pic 
of his head showing his color, not sure that it qualifies for the freeflight 
photo group but I can send if you'd like to see it.
