Kevin -- they might survive but my understanding is that nests are critical 
for winter survival. The thing is that there are many tree nests that the 
company did not deal with and birds will be back on poles soon. Regardless of 
what you think about the killing, this is just a stop-gap measure that isn't a 
real solution.
