RE: [Freeflight] Yes or No. The Poll

FF is done. It all looks different at first glance but when you dig

Hi Jim,
What we have here is a failure to communicate.
There are a vast number of issues (age, time of fledging, degree of
training, type of training, physical condition...the list could go on)
that you are glossing over. Bart just described a fairly detailed
method of indoor training. Some people have graduated from a house to a
large enclosed space to outdoors, and others have not. Some continue
indoor training exercises (including "trick training") even after the
bird is FF-ing and some do not. Some successful outdoor fliers have
(recently) taken a step back and worked on indoor training...others
have not. Some carefully monitor weights, while others don't. Not
everyone is following the same plan, even if the results are similar.
Yes, of course there is testing and evaluating, and once you reach a
certain "comfort" level, there are bound to be patterns... but there are
many steps before that and inbetween.
