Re: Just for your information
The point of that video (the serious video) was only to bring
awareness to Foster Parrots and what they do. That was the point. It
wasn't meant to be an educational video. Maybe someday I will do an
educational, informative video, but that was not the point of this
video. If that's how you took the quote about needing a psychology
degree to understand parrots, I'm sorry, but it was only to show that
parrots are not just "bird brains" but complex, emotional,
intelligent creatures. I don't think most people took it to mean they
actually need a psychology degree. Anyway, the purpose was to bring
awareness to Foster Parrots and their mission. Marc and Karen like it
and consented to me posting it. I believe in the message that the
video sends and frankly, I don't care if it turns people off. When I
make a video with the purpose of educating and sending a message
about the other kinds of things we've been discussing thus far, I
would do it in a completely different way and I would not include the
same types of images since I would be trying to send a different type
of message. I believe in Marc and Karen and Foster Parrots and I'm
proud of the video and the only people I care about liking the video
are Marc and Karen.
I like the other video too, but as far as the technical aspects of
shooting birds and esp. flying birds, well, I still have a long way
to go on that...LoL! I have a pretty shitty camera and can only work
with what I have! Hey, I'm still lucky I have the camera and it
didn't get chomped up by the cockatoo that kept flying at the door to
get me! Or the little conure who shimmied up my leg to nip at it
towards the end... :) So, yeah, I'm still a beginner in this area- I
only made my first video ever a few months ago!
Anyway, this whole thing is exhausting me!
